In previous incarnations, I was a chemist for natural product and organometallic
synthesis, adhesives development and silicones, a medical device materials developer and consultant, a software developer and a technology sales and systems consultant. Now I apply this past experience as well as additional background in business management, agriculture and German culture for the translation of scientific and
technical communications, technical marketing documents, patents and
contracts and related disciplines.
I also provide training and consulting for process optimization for translation and localization for individuals, language service resellers and translation buyers. This includes courses and individual coaching for Kilgray's memoQ and its application as well as other language service topics.
I'm also a state-examined, publicly appointed, court-sworn translator (with Munich District Court I) for
German and English with a particular emphasis on scientific texts and a member of the German Federal Association of Interpreters and Translators (BDÜ).
