memoQ LiveDocs: What Good Is It, Anyway? (webinar, 23 April 2019)

I'll be presenting a free webinar on the uses, advantages, and quirks of memoQ's often underestimated and misunderstood LiveDocs module: everything you always needed to know about its features and corpora but never thought to ask.

When? On 23 April 2019 at 3:00 PM Lisbon time (4:00 PM Central European Time, 7:00 AM Pacific Standard Time); webinar attendance is free, but advance registration is required. The URL to register is:

After registering, you will receive a confirmation e-mail containing information about joining the presentation.

Particular questions regarding the subject matter or challenges you face with it are welcome in advance via e-mail, LinkedIn or other social media contact. I'll try to incorporate these in the presentation.

  1. Kevin, is it possible to listen to the webinar after the event? I can't make the time it is going to be live but would be interested in the content.

    1. Assuming that there isn't some sort of technical mishap with the recording, of course. I always try to record video and/or audio for these things.

  2. HI Kevin,
I'd second that request. I won't be able to make the 23 April date, but would love to get your insight on LiveDocs from any recording of the webinar.

    Cheers,

    Colin

    1. As I mentioned in my reply to Stanislav, I have got a decent recording, but I want to finish the TOC before I publicize it. However, I did send the unlisted link to everyone who signed up, so maybe you have it already. (I just copied & pasted the e-mail list in a BCC, did not pay close attention to the individual addresses.)

  3. Hello Kevin,

Is the recording of your webinar available online? I'd like to share it on TransTools social channels if that's OK with you of course.

    Best regards,

    1. Yes, Stanislav, but it is currently unlisted, because I haven't had time to do the TOC. I also have addenda that I was going to tack onto the end, but I'll probably release those as separate videos instead. Give me a bit of time to catch up on this one, and when you distribute the link it will be a lot more useful. I hate long instructional videos with no hotlinked table of contents.

    2. By the way, will you be at memoQ Fest again this year? I have a conflict with a week of dog training just north of Budapest, but I'll probably make it to a few evening events and maybe late Thursday morning.

  4. Hi Kevin, I unfortunately didn't get the unlisted link (checked spam folder), despite having signed up for the webinar (of that I'm pretty certain). Could you send it again? I'd be really interested to have a look at it, even it it doesn't have a TOC...Cheers, Colin
